The Bog Hole Wildlife Area is a lush wetland habitat for many native and migratory waterfowl as well as a variety of game and nongame wildlife  species. Commonly spotted animals in and around the area include white-tailed deer, great blue heron, bobcat, and the Sonoran tiger salamander.
